A day at the zoo

We went to the zoo and the mall yesterday and it was so much fun! The more I am here, the harder it will be to leave. God has done so much in my life these past 4 1/2 months, and honestly it scares me to go home, not that home is bad..but I don't want to go back being the same person I was when I came here in April, if that makes any since. I know I need to surrender to the Lord, but its hard at times.It will be a new season in my life when I get home, with college and where I am with God..I am excited but also scared.

In other news a few of my family members arrive in Guatemala next week, man I am so excited for that. Dang I miss my sister:) Mel's big team gets here two days after my family gets here,it will be a crazy week..but such a blast. Please pray that everything goes well with the team. Also keep the kids at Hermano pedro in your prayers.

My little firecracker

This sweet heart is my girl Sonia, she is the sweetest thing, and has decided to teach me Spanish, poor girl;) I am teaching her English,haha well in a matter of speaking, she already knows alot..what a doll.

Its time to Blog!

Ok you guys I have finally gotten blog, haha..we shall see where this goes!


But just to fill you guys in, I have been living in Guatemala for the past 4 months and have been working at Hermano pedro with my babys. I have learned so much during this time and I would love to share with you fellow bloggers, but that will have to come later, I need to run and get my coffee. I will post some pictures later.
